Rick and Ansally Stuyt
Rick and Ansally Stuyt both come from five generations of dairy farming in the Netherlands. During World War II, both had uncles who made cheese in exchange for goods so the family could survive. Ansally was born in the Netherlands. Her parents immigrated to the United States in 1961 and purchased the dairy they now own and operate in 1965. With 90 acres and approximately 500 Holstein cows, Rick and Ansally are proud to co-own not only the dairy; but, the cheese plant too. Rick grew up in the Netherlands always having a passion for the dairy industry. He interned on several small dairies which was where he learned the process of cheese making. In 1985 Rick came to the United States. As the years progressed, Rick developed a deeper passion to pursue his childhood dream of cheese making. It began as a small project just making cheese for the family and developed into Stuyt Dairy Farmstead Cheese Company, LLC with the first official batch being made on September 29, 2015.

Nicholas Stuyt
Nicholas Stuyt is the son of Rick and Ansally Stuyt.
He has always exhibited a passion for the agricultural industry and we feel so fortunate for the hard work he always puts in. Nicholas helps a tremendous amount with the farming and can always be found in the cheese plant when help is needed.

Anastasia Stuyt
Oldest daughter of Rick and Ansally Stuyt, Anastasia Stuyt, is the cheese maker. Anastasia graduated from California State University, Sacramento in 2013 receiving her bachelor’s degree in marketing. Anastasia is a huge asset to the company as she is not only the cheese maker; but, is responsible for quality control, the lab tech, and still makes time to attend samplings and enhance overall sales. She joined the team in 2015.

Michelle Stuyt

Michelle Stuyt, youngest daughter of Rick and Ansally Stuyt, is currently responsible for the website and point of contact for farmer's markets and special events.
